Tradition

Well, every year I gripe and complain about merchandising and how retailers smoosh all the holidays together. They push out one before it's even started. However, I am grateful for the push at Easter because it is tradition to make myself sick on the Cadbury Mini Eggs. I buy a whole bag myself and am very protective. Well, bag was bought yesterday, and here it sits, empty next to me as I type this, the cold milk chilling in my stomach. Sweet satisfaction. 18 oz of chocolate, check that one off the list!!

Here's our trip to Paris on Valentine's Day! We missed Jackson terribly but had a blast. Our favorite was Versailles. We went "window licking"(window shopping) and took a boat ride on the Seine (it was really cold)! Loved it!

Personal Achievement

Everyone knows that having a baby involves baby fat. It takes a lot of hard work to get it off. Not that I'm at my pre-baby size (or ever will be again), but I've been working hard to get it off. A special thanks to Colby for getting me to the gym (especially when I didn't want to) and for being a good dietitian. Colby was a personal trainer and (almost) body builder at Gold's and so he's really been helping plan good meals. Anyway, just within the last week, two or three people commented that it looked like I had really been losing weight! Wow! Thanks a lot guys! This is also a "Good job girls!" for anyone who has worked hard or is working hard to get as close to pre-baby as possible. I know a few of you really have so congratulations!

Banging on Pots

We've found Jackson's new favorite hobby. All it took was one time to show him how to bang on pots and he picked it right up. Kid's a natural.
