Our Canada Trip

We left for a 3 week Canada trip...umm...3 weeks ago thereby leaving poor hubsters all alone! We went for some serious one on one therapy for Little Man #1 and some attention for Little Man #2 and we had a blast. Jackson can now do stairs alternating steps. Side-stepping and tiptopes are a little harder. We're working on names with Jackson. He knows his own name and can figure out the names of most other things. Both he and Sam LOVE Winnie the Pooh. We'll have to go see the new movie. Anyway, here are a LOT of pictures from the trip.
Jackson's favorite game: Hide, Hide, Hide!
Sam loves music, dancing. His fav songs are Choo, Choo, Choo and Boo! Especially when sung by Grams.

The Placemat Series

Butterfield Acres is a sprawling farm that seems pellmell placed higgidy-piggidy all over the hill. It's a giant farm-zoo with emus, rabbits, cows, yaks, goats, chickens, donkeys, tractors, and such.

That's my 93 or 94 year-old Great-grandma (GG) for short milking a goat. She said that cows were easier. We all got a chance. I'll have to milk a cow for something to compare.
Sam was attacked by the sheep and pigs.

First week at Nana and Grandad's. That music box is very special to me because it's what first motivated Jackson to start talking at Christmas and if it hadn't been for Dani, it never would have happened. Thanks to Nana for buying it in the first place and Dani for playing with Jackson.
Aunt Dani and Uncle Mark. I sure hope Mark doesn't mind us calling him a cowboy because it was one of the easiest ways I could think of to describe him.

What you can't see is an animatronic Christmas dog singing "You Make Me Wanna Shout Merry Christmas". :) Good times.

Our thrift store finds.

Our ancient SEGA Pico Winnie the Pooh game. I remember spending a long time on this thing and Grams saved it. Thanks!

Butterfield Acres part 2

Jackson LOVED the duck pond.

Flying kites

At Aunt Dani's sister-in-law's acreage. Dani introduced the horses: Skip, Hollywood, and Ranger. Jackson kept saying, "Buzz Lightyear, Buzz Lightyear." I couldn't figure it out and then it dawned on me! Ranger, and Buzz is a Space Ranger. Cute!
Sam, when asked to give the horses a hug leaned his whole body on it!

Grandad's newest acquisition: an iPad 2. It was a toss up to see who used it more.

Stampede fun. Hats.

Just hanging out at the exhibits.

At the rodeo. We didn't stay for the whole time. Dani, Mark, me, Annelisa and Jack-Jack. Jackson is covering his ears because Mark scared him a couple of minutes ago with a "yee-haw!"

Grandad and Nana's surprise tent purchase. Thanks!

That's our trip! Whew! Fun, but glad to be home!
