The Full Visit from The G-Parents

So my grandparents are very mobile peeps. They still have a burb for crazy road trips. Since one sis is still in UT, they just swing by there, stop in Vegas, then finish the trip to us! Well, you saw the one post. Here's pics of my sis and nephew then the pics of their visit with us. Happy Belated B-day to Little Logster.
For our leg of the trip, we went to Sam Woo's, Disneyland (which they'd decorated for Halloween), Trader Joe's, Pinkberry, and the Huntington Gardens (Thanks again Laura). So here's pics and blurbs from both legs. UT is first.

Logan tries to re-arrange Grandad"s face.
Doorbell ditching a care package to Sister Annelisa's home. My other sis Annelisa is now a real Sis. Ahem. She got called to the Provo UT mission and was assigned to BYU campus for a very long time. This is pretty regular. They doorbell ditch each other when they can because Annelisa is in the same stake as Meggie. Although they've never actually been caught. Some other care packages: One was sent by Meggie to Annelisa in the MTC in a beautiful Victoria's Secret bag. Annelisa was SO embarassed. Then another time Annelisa actually did run into Jared as they were both leaving a church parking lot. Annelisa's companion thought she was out of her mind when she said, "Love you!" Annelisa had to explain it was her bro-in-law. The guy Jared was with was flabbergasted when Jared said, "Love you, Sister High!" He thought he was picking up on Sisters and him a married man, no less...until he explained it was his sis-in-law.

Welcome to Logan's 1st birthday party/
The party fare.
Logan WINS!!
Can't a person have ANY privacy? This is what every bath session is like at our house when they come to visit. Naked babies are just so darn cute.
Family picture.
Then it's on to our leg of the trip.

A goodnight kiss from Jackson to Grandad.
Jackson loved to snuggle up when he watched a video. At one point, for no reason at all, Jackson leaned over and whacked Gdad on the stomach, then settled back down to watch.
The waterpark was a highlight and a big hit. We went twice. Every so often Jackson would run over and give me a GIANT face-plant hug! I thought, "Oh, he cares about me more than the water!"
But then, I figured something out. I pulled out the towel, held my hand up for him, and he came and gave the towel a GIANT face-plant hug. I then realized that I'd been demoted to towel. Jackson was using my shorts as a towel because he didn't like the water dripping in his face!
Mom and Dad dared the water to get them wet.
Pinkberry yogurt was next. They had a watermelon flavor. SO good!
Jackson was fascinated with his new train.
He spent at least half an hour every day playing with it, always without prompting. He just loved it. He loves all things train. He once watched a VERY boring documentary called Trains in Four Seasons: Four DVDs. It was basically watching steam engines go through different scenery during Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. He watched 40 mins of each, fascinated. He's a train enthusiast. I was dying! I did perk up on the Winter DVD because the Heber RR was featured. Anyway, I digress.
With his own bowl of quacamole Jackson is perfectly contented. He slicked it up right to the bottom of the dish. Then he started on the salsa, special thanks to El Torito.
Another fascination --- BUBBLES! Nana and Grandad are very good at gift giving. Jackson loves bubbles, buttons and wheels. So they got him a self-propelled, push-button, bubble wand. He loved it! Thanks!

This position is not by accident. Jackson wanted to see close-up, the action of the gears when he pushed the buttons and pulled the levers. He will push cars/trains and watch the gears work.
Sam. What a sweetheart. He sat on grandad's lap and giggled and giggled for two or three minutes, when grandad made noises and faces.
Watch out! Jackson is ready to shoot that mouthful of water.
Take the picture quick. Jackson is ready to bolt.
Great picture.
Sam. A natural charmer. Who can now flip back to front and front to back.
Huntington Gardens. We have to go back there. It is a great place to visit. We're going back. If I lived closer, I'd have a season pass!
Resting.
Chinese gardens.
Japanese Bonsai.
Sam again.
Fun at the playground.
A number of pictures taken at Disneyland.

In the Nemo submarine. He doesn't like it and I really don't either. It's scary and dark. Not a fan.

Sam.
I screamed big time on Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy and LOVED The Haunted Mansion. It's all decked out Nightmare B4 Christmas with Jack Skellington. So much better than the normal ride.
By the end of the day we were all wiped, but the kiddies were most of all. We went on Nemo, Snow White 2x, Peter Pan, Casey's RR and tons of others I can't remember. Oh, yeah. Tom Sawyer's Island. As soon as we put them in the stoller and kept them there for more than 3 minutes (we were shopping on Main), they were both out!

A balancing act. We got about five diff pics of this scene. Sam ended up by his head and Jackson is reaching for all he's worth!
See my new Mickey Mouse shirt?
All dressed up.
More water park pictures.

Thanks for the help mom.
We had so much fun! Thanks a ton!
