Let me introduce you to the two TV shows that we don't watch on TV: House and Castle. If you haven't seen Castle, go to casttv and watch Season 1. It's about a mystery writer who shadows tough girl cop to get inspiration. Guess whose favorite that one is! Then House, the snarky sociopath genius who solves mysterious diseases. Colby got hooked after it was a required homework assignment to watch an episode and then write a paper! This is graduate school?

im glad im not the only one who loves castle.
Same story for us but we watch Chuck and Lost. We used to have cable but cancelled it a few months ago and haven't missed it.
